Daragh advises on financial services law and specialises in investment funds.

Daragh is an Associate Solicitor in the Financial Services Group. Daragh has experience of advising on the structuring, establishment and listing of investment funds in Ireland. Daragh also has experience of advising clients in relation to their obligations under all aspects of financial services regulation.

Experience

  • Experience of working on the structuring, launch and Central Bank authorisation of Qualifying Investor Alternative Investment Funds (QIAIFs) investing in a range of asset classes.
  • Experience of the structuring, launch and Central Bank authorisation of UCITS Funds.
  • Experience in respect of compliance and regulation issues under the AIFMD (Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive) and the UCITS (Undertakings in Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Directive, including advising on the regulatory responsibilities of Alternative Investment Fund Managers and UCITS management companies.
  • Experience of working on anti-money laundering issues arising under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 as amended.
  • Experience in relation to the Central Bank’s fitness and probity rules.
  • Experience in relation to the Corporate Governance Code for Collective Investment Schemes and Management Companies.
