Abigail advises on a wide range of general and commercial litigation disputes including insurance coverage disputes, debt recovery, enforcement proceedings, injunctive proceedings, contractual disputes, and property disputes.

Abigail has worked on complex high-value disputes before the Commercial Court.  She has experience in dealing with matters before the Circuit Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, and has also acted in several mediations.

Experience

  • Advising an insurer in the defence of several sets of multi-party disputes in the Commercial Court.
  • Acting for insurers in high-value coverage disputes including the aviation litigation before the Irish Commercial Court.
  • Acted in complex litigation under the competitions acts for a multi-national logistics company before the Commercial High Court.
  • Acting for financial institutions in a variety of commercial disputes, including prosecuting and defending complex debt recovery claims before the Circuit Courts and High Court.
  • Acting on behalf of financial institutions in relation to the enforcement of claims.
  • Advising on cyber-insurance coverage matters.
  • Acting for Receivers and Secured Lenders in defending claims being made by the borrowers that the receivers were not validly appointed and taking injunctive proceedings against the borrowers.
  • Implementing alternative dispute resolution procedures, including mediation, to resolve disputes.
