She has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution to include advising in respect of large-scale, multi-party commercial disputes and professional negligence claims.  She also has experience in international arbitration. 

In addition, Íde advises a wide range of corporate clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.  Her experience includes advising on employment contracts, policies and handbooks and the conduct of grievance, disciplinary and internal investigations.  She also has experience in negotiating severance agreements and advising on dismissals and redundancies.

  • Acting for insurers in respect of insurance high-value coverage disputes including the aviation litigation before the Irish Commercial Court.
  • Acted in complex litigation under the competitions acts for a multi-national logistics before the commercial high court.
  • Acted for large corporate client in the prosecution of a fraud claim.
  • Acting in high value, large scale international arbitration.
  • Defending trade mark infringement proceedings.
  • Acting in the defence of numerous product liability disputes.
  • Acting in the defence of high value, multi-party insurance disputes before the Commercial Court.
  • Defending solicitors, architects, engineers and other professionals on the instructions of their professional indemnifiers.
  • Advising in respect of pensions disputes/litigation.
  • Acting in both the bringing and defending of High Court employment injunctions.
  • Advising in respect of workplace investigations and grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Negotiating and advising in respect of severance agreements.
  • Advising in respect of unfair dismissal, bullying and harassment and stress related employee claims.
  • Advising in respect of contracts of employment and employer handbooks/policies.
