Clair Cassidy is Head of Real Estate at LK Shields.

She has extensive experience in advising on all aspects of commercial real estate including acquisition and disposal of development land, development of PBSA and social housing sites, forward funding transactions, sale and acquisition of multi-property investments and commercial landlord and tenant.

Clair’s clients include Irish and international clients, developers, real estate funds, family investment houses and private investors.

Experience

  • Acting for an international multi-family office in the acquisition of commercial property, development sites and ongoing asset management of its real estate portfolio.
  • Advising a large semi-State pension fund on its investment in a significant aparthotel scheme in Dublin City through a forward funding structure.
  • Acting for a developer in the sale of significant landbanks in north county Dublin to residential developers and the local authority.
  • Advising a large commercial semi-State company on the property aspects of the sale of a corporate entity within the group to Clare County Council, together with the sale of associated property aspects to the same local authority
  • Advising a leading US owned lifestyle retailer on the sale and leaseback of two of its flagship stores.
  • Acting for a private Irish family office on the acquisition of large commercial property portfolios and development land.
  • Acting for a number of international corporates in relation to the negotiation of leases (from both a landlord and tenant perspective) in respect of retail, industrial and office premises.
