Experience

  • Acting for major financial institutions in secured lending transactions with particular focus on property finance to include development finance and commercial property transactions.
  • Carrying out comprehensive security and title reviews for financial institutions and advising on the rectification of title and security issues where required.
  • Advising borrowers in secured lending and refinancing transactions and implementing charges over commercial and residential property investments.
  • Acting for a leading Irish real estate fund in management of its property portfolio to include shopping centres and PBSA schemes.
  • Advising both landlords and tenants in negotiation of new commercial leases and agreements for lease (pre-lets), the assignment / subletting of existing leases and variation of existing leases for retail, hospitality, industrial and office premises.
  • Acting for receivers and liquidators in the disposal of distressed property assets.
  • Advising on property aspects of corporate transactions and negotiating sale and leaseback transactions.
  • Acting for vendors and purchasers in the sale and purchase of commercial properties and acting for high-net-worth individuals in the sale and purchase of residential properties.
