Sinéad assists clients with both general and specific employment contentious matters, including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.

Sinéad also advises on non-contentious employment related matters such as drafting contracts, handbooks and internal policies as well as severance and consultancy agreements.  She also assists with carrying out employment due diligence in corporate transactions.

Sinéad has experience in dealing with matters before the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court, the Superior Courts as well as alternative dispute resolution methods.

Sinéad has acted in a wide variety of commercial and general litigation disputes including property disputes, contractual disputes, family law disputes and insurance disputes.

  • Acting on behalf of leading Irish employers and assisting with complex and sensitive internal grievance and disciplinary processes, harassment and bullying claims, whistleblowing disputes as well as advising on non-contentious issues and best practice.
  • Advising national and international employers in restructuring workforces, collective redundancies, and non-collective redundancies.
  • Assisting leading Irish companies with immigration advices including employment permit applications.
  • Acting on behalf of plaintiffs in a wide range of contentious matters including negligence and contractual claims and regulatory investigations.
