Sale of Celtic Linen to Johnson Service Group plc by Causeway Capital Partners and other members of management

LK Shields acted for Causeway Capital Partners and other vendors in the sale of, our valued client Celtic Linen, to Johnson Service Group plc for a consideration of €31.5 million.

Celtic Linen is a leading provider of linen services in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. The business which has approximately 350 employees operates from County Wexford and County Kildare. The majority shareholder of Celtic Linen was Causeway Capital Partners, a growth focused private equity firm investing in businesses across Ireland and the UK. Joanne Somers, Managing Director of Celtic Linen and the existing senior management team will remain with the business.
