The Central Bank has updated the IF Annual Sub-Fund Profile Form and will be implementing changes to the annual filing dates.

The IF Annual Sub-Fund Profile Form is a standard form questionnaire, which each authorised sub-fund is required to complete in order for the Central Bank to gather information on items such as the investment strategy, dealing frequency and functional currency of authorised funds.

The Annual Sub-Fund Profile Form was filed with the Central Bank through the Online Reporting System (ONR) each year with a filing deadline of 30 June.

The Central Bank is making a few changes to the IF Annual Sub-Fund Profile Form.

  • The form will be known as the ‘Fund Profile return’.
  • The Fund Profile return will have be filed annually within two months of the calendar year-end, i.e. by the end of February.
  • The first Fund Profile return has to be filed by 31 August 2018 for the report date 30 June 2018.  It will replace the previously scheduled filing by 30 June 2018 for report date 31 December 2017.

The Central Bank will update the ONR later this month to add the Fund Profile return for report date 30 June 2018 and remove the Annual Sub-Fund Profile Form return for report date 31 December 2017.
