Niamh advises on all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

Niamh is an Associate Solicitor in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and has been with the firm since she began her traineeship in 2006.

Niamh has particular experience in banking and finance related litigation (both for and against financial institutions), bankruptcy proceedings, construction disputes, procurement litigation and tax litigation.

Niamh is also experienced in a wide range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes, professional negligence claims and debt recovery.

Niamh represents Irish and international clients in a wide range of business disputes before the Irish courts and has extensive experience before the Commercial Court.


  • Adviser to a number of financial institutions in relation to the enforcement of multi-million euro loans.
  • Advising financial institutions on pre- and post-judgment enforcement strategies.
  • Advising financial institutions on obtaining ancillary enforcement reliefs from the Court; registering judgment mortgages and employing a wide range of strategies to maximise the potential insolvency dividend.
  • Advising financial institutions on obtaining European Enforcement Orders.
  • Assisting financial institutions in achieving commercial forbearance agreements without prosecuting lengthy and costly litigation.
  • Performing risk analyses for financial institutions to assist them in carrying out commercial evaluations of whether enforcement steps should be taken.
  • Advising in a range of contentious matters.
  • Prosecuting and defending commercial disputes before the Commercial Court.
  • Prosecuting and defending complicated high-value construction claims before the Commercial Court and the High Court.
  • Advising in respect of contentious public procurement law matters.
  • Advising clients in relations to regulatory investigations.
  • Niamh contributes regularly to both in-house and external publications.
