Adrian is Head of the Financial Services Department at LK Shields.
Adrian has an extensive understanding of cross-border issues related to the structuring, marketing and distribution of investment products in Europe. His notable achievements include the delivery of the first active ETFs in Europe; the first China RQFII ETF in Europe; the first UCITS ETFs listed on SIX and the first Irish exchange-traded precious metal products.
Adrian began his career with LK Shields and since that time he has held senior roles in private practice at both Allen & Overy and Arthur Cox in London and Dublin.
Adrian also has extensive experience in-house having worked as Head of Retail Issuance (Legal) for ABN AMRO / RBS. In addition, he was a founding employee and General Counsel for Source ETF where he was responsible for all legal work related to product launches, European distribution, product maintenance and general compliance matters.
