By 2040, it is expected that the population in Ireland will have increased to nearly 6 million people, resulting in a requirement for 660,000 additional jobs that need to be created, and highlights the need for infrastructure to support this population increase.
Project Ireland 2040 is the Irish Government's long-term overarching strategy to make Ireland a better country for all its people. The plan outlines the proposed changes in how investment is made in public infrastructure in Ireland.
Jamie Ritchie, Associate Solicitor at LK Shields, will be joined by industry experts Michael Nyland of Duke McCaffrey and James Golden of Quigg Golden to discuss how Project Ireland 2040 will impact on the construction industry.
The event is being held in conjunction with the German Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
