Enterprise Ireland launches Seed & Venture Capital 2015 Report

On 14 June 2015, Enterprise Ireland published its Seed & Venture Capital Report for the calendar year 2015. The Report details developments under the €175m Seed & Venture Capital Programme (2013 – 2018).

Some highlights from the report include:

• Three new venture capital funds were successfully launched during 2015 being Fountain Healthcare Partners II, The Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Growth Fund (ROI) II and Atlantic Bridge III;
   
• Enterprise Ireland has committed a further €65m to seven commercially focused early staged funds which are fundraising and are expected to be formally launched in the near term;
   
• Enterprise Ireland co-funded a €20m Business Angels Fund in conjunction with the European Investment Fund.
   

The Report also contains details on the direct investments made by Enterprise Ireland in early stage companies during 2015.
