We acted for Ringsend Property Limited in Commercial Court proceedings against Mr Bernard McNamara and Donatex Limited (a vehicle of Mr Bernard McNamara) on foot of an accelerated payment provision contained in a Loan Stock Instrument which Mr McNamara had entered into in 2007.

The Loan Stock Instrument was a part of Mr McNamara’s funding of his investment in the Glass Bottle Site in Ringsend through Donatex Limited.

We obtained judgment in the amount of €98,145,905 against Donatex Limited and a judgment of €62,550,000 against Mr McNamara (the largest judgment against an individual in the history of the State) on foot of Mr McNamara’s personal guarantee of certain liabilities of Donatex Limited.

We continue to act for Ringsend Property Limited in connection with that matter.
