LK Shields Solicitors acted for numerous shareholders of Gift Voucher Shop (GVS), the highly successful Irish pre-paid gift card company which trades in Ireland and the United Kingdom, in connection with An Post's acquisition of a majority stake in GVS.

The deal involves an investment in the region of €9 million (euro) made up of equity and loan notes, an element of which will be determined by the future performance of the GVS operation in the UK.
