NTT DoCoMo invest in Blue Ocean Wireless
We acted for Dublin-based Blue Ocean Wireless Ltd with respect
to the US$10 million equity investment by Japanese mobile company,
NTT DoCoMo, Inc. into the company.
Blue Ocean, set up in 2007, is involved in technology which allows
mobile communications at sea. The Japanese company's investment
values the Dublin firm at US$87m (€62.4m). Claret Capital, the Irish
private equity group led
by Mr Dómhnal Slattery, is Blue Ocean's biggest shareholder.
Other investors include Bank of Scotland (Ireland), Altobridge
Limited and Smart Communications, which is based in the Philippines.
