Philip Daly and his team in the Business Department of
LK Shields Solicitors completed a Placing Memorandum on behalf of BioPower Group Plc.

This provides for the placing of up to 800, 000 shares in BioPower Group at a price of €0.50 per share. This investment will finance the first phase of their business plan and there will be further placings in the future.

BioPower Group is a bioenergy investment company specialising in the provision of energy from sources other than petroleum and natural gas.

BioPower has a clear business plan to set up a large number of small to medium sized bioenergy sites through its subsidiaries and aims to become a provider of electric power from a decentralised network of wind turbines and anaerobic digesters.

Sustainability is a key element of BioPower's strategy.

The management team and directors at BioPower include
Dr. Colin J. Campbell, an internationally recognised geologist and author on peak oil production, and Dónall Ó Laoire, a barrister specialising in environmental law.
