We acted for Premier Data Centres Limited ("PDC") in the acquisition by Keppel Telecommunications and Transportation Limited ("Keppel") of a 50% stake in PDC. PDC has operated the 6,500 square metre datacentre facility in Dublin since 2002, and its clients include some of the world's largest technology companies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Keppel, through its wholly owned subsidiary DataOne (Asia) Pte Limited ("DataOne") paid €12 million for its 50% stake by way of a combination of a subscription for shares in and loan to PDC and the purchase from the shareholders of PDC of part of the loan capital held by them.

Gerry Halpenny, a Partner in the Business Department, led this transaction and was assisted by Zelda Deasy an Associate in the Business Department.
