LK Shields Solicitors acted for Mentec Integrated Solutions Limited, the vendors in the sale of the entire issued share capital of Mentec International Limited (an Irish company), Mentec International Limited (a UK company) and Transfare Solutions Limited (a Northern Ireland company) to Calyx Group Plc (Calyx), a company which is listed on the AIM and IEX markets. The total consideration was €16 million, made up of €12.75 million in cash and €3.25 million's worth of shares in Calyx.

Based in Dublin and Leistershire, Mentec is an innovative provider of IT products and services. Mentec supplies technical and managed services and applications to a blue-chip client base throughout Ireland and the UK, primarily in the public, manufacturing, distribution and professional services sectors.
