  • Acting for Enterprise Ireland on its investment of €20m
    in Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Partners Private Equity Fund II pursuant to the Seed and Venture Capital Scheme 2007 - 2012.

  • Acting for Enterprise Ireland on its investment of €21.75m in the Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund
    Limited Partnership pursuant to the Seed and
    Venture Capital Scheme 2007 - 2012.

  • Acting for Seroba Kernel Life Sciences in the establishment of Seroba Kernel Life Sciences Fund II
    a dedicated life sciences venture capital fund.

  • Acting for Kernel Capital in the establishment of
    Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund
    2009 a dedicated €26m seed fund.

  • Acting for Kernel Capital in the establishment of the
    Bank of Ireland MedTech Accelerator Fund.

  • Numerous investment and divestment transactions including:

    • Acting in buy-out of 3i's interest in Macalla Software financed by Shackleton Ventures and the subsequent trade sale to Roamware Inc.

    • Acting for Englefield Capital in relation to its €30m equity investment through its vehicle Rockfield Investment LLP in Imperative Energy Limited.

    • Acting for Braemar Energy Ventures LP in its investment in Powervation Limited.

    • Other investments in portfolio companies on behalf of the funds we represent.
