The food industry is a highly regulated and significant area of
business in Ireland with legislative and regulatory requirements
addressing most aspects of production, transport, storage, labelling,
packaging, marketing and retailing of food products in Ireland.
The establishment of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland in 1998
has highlighted growing public concern that exists, both in Ireland
and internationally, over food safety issues. We provide expert
advice and guidance to clients on the law as it applies in relation
to the food industry.
