Marco is a Partner in the Business
Department. He has been with LK Shields Solicitors since
2000. Prior to joining LK Shields Solicitors, Marco worked
in the Brussels office of Squire Saunders & Dempsey, then
in the London office of Clifford Chance and he also practiced
with another leading law firm in Dublin.
Marco specialises in the field of corporate and commercial
law and insolvency law. Marco heads the EU,
Competition and Regulated Markets unit at LK Shields
with a particular focus on merger control. Marco has a significant
practice in healthcare and life sciences and heads the firm's
Healthcare
and Life Sciences unit. Marco also has extensive experience
in complex examinership proceedings and is a member of the
firm's Corporate
Restructuring and Insolvency unit.
Marco has written extensively on the subject of Irish and
EU competition law.
