Eoin trained at LK Shields Solicitors, qualifying as a solicitor in 1999 and was appointed a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department in 2004. Eoin has acted in the defence of a significant number of high profile regulatory investigations and prosecutions, an area of law that has developed considerably in an era of greater regulation and enforcement of regulatory compliance. He also has a keen interest in tax litigation and has lectured at the Institute of Taxation and other professional bodies on tax, money laundering and company law related issues. Other areas of interest include intellectual property litigation, commercial disputes, arbitration law, multi-jurisdictional disputes, maritime law, property/construction disputes, procurement related litigation and judicial review. Eoin applies pragmatic and commercially driven solutions in the resolution of disputes for his clients.
